Regional Update with Matt Powell | Thankfulness & Seasonal Wishes
November 15, 2021LATEST NEWS: First National Title Insurance Company Promotes Chad Hansen to Chief Operating Officer
December 6, 2021As First National Title Insurance Company (FNTI) begins to close out 2021, I can’t help but reflect on the successes of our industry, our company, and our team. And I am so grateful that over the past two years, the impact of Covid-19 and the Delta variant have not severely impacted our team members. We have not gone unscathed, and many had family and friends that were extremely ill, but we survived. My hope is that the worst of this virus is behind us, and we can simply adjust to a new way of living, both personally and professionally.
Veteran’s Day passed by last week, and Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. I was proud to honor all my family members who served our nation, from as far back as WWII (my dad), Vietnam (my brother-in-law), and the Gulf and Iraqi wars, (my nephews and nieces). I also know that many of our team honored their family members who served our country. It truly is a time to be grateful and give thanks.
Our national holiday (four days of watching football) also known as Thanksgiving, is upon us. The company potluck lunch that fed 44 a year ago must now accommodate 75. Our staff has nearly doubled in 2021—a direct correlation to the anticipate growth and expansion plans we are executing. We now have six operational regions and licensed in 35 states with over 300 independent agents representing us. Those are very exciting statistics that I am very proud to be a part of and thankful to all those who have joined our great company and believe in our mission.
First National Title Insurance Company was created at the right time, by the right team, and for the right reasons. We benefited from a decade of low interest rates, strong real estate demand and a need for an independent agent-focused underwriter. We continue to add professionals to our staff, and as we become operational in more states, the FNTI name is becoming a nationally recognized brand. That is exciting!
I am also reminded that none of this growth and exciting times would be possible if not for the support and trust you place in our team. We are dedicated to you and your operations and try not to lose sight of that in our everyday interactions. You make us successful—and I try to never forget that. I am not sure what the next decade looks like for FNTI, but if the past ten years have been any indication, I am confident in a very exciting ride and a very bright future.
Thank you during this holiday season and throughout the year. We appreciate you.
