Message from the CEO | Celebrate Independent Agent “March Madness” Month

We celebrate Independent Agent month in March because this was the month First National Title Insurance Company (FNTI) was born.  On March 16, 2012, a short six years ago, FNTI received its Certificate of Authority to do business as a title insurance underwriter.  We have come a long way in six years, but we would be nothing without YOU, the hard-working, entrepreneurial-Independent Agent that made the decision to represent FNTI and issue our policies.  Your actions have allowed us to reach incredible milestones.   So let’s celebrate together during this crazy “March Madness” month.  We are celebrating this month with our Independent Agent flag-photo contest.  Check out our website and Blog announcement for the rules.  Be imaginative, a little crazy, and good luck.

I am confident that 2018 will be a very good year for the title industry.  We are positioned to take advantage of the programs and products we implemented last year and continue to help you grow your business. 

·        We are fully integrated with both SoftPro and RamQuest and are currently working with the Resware integration team. 

·        Our title production facility is fully operational, offering title services in the North Texas area.  Within the next three months, additional counties will be added to our plant–allowing greater coverage throughout the state. 

·        The reinsurance program we developed over the past five years now includes options to insure transactions above $30 million and in excess of $100 million.  Our reinsurer has plans to disrupt the current market place by competing directly with the major underwriters.  Commercial business has historically been controlled by the big four underwriters and now is the time to get more of that business in the hands of the Independent Agent.  Our program and relationship with Fidelis London will help facilitate these efforts. 

·        Finally, every member of the FNTI team has dedicated themselves to earning your business in 2018.  We will out service, out market, out educate, and out work any other underwriter in the country.  Give us the opportunity to show you why FNTI is the right underwriter for you.
