I recently heard John Maxwell speak about, “What you do TODAY matters.” What we do matters every day in all aspects of life. Recently, I have started writing a short note every morning to my son Will, taping it to the mirror in his bathroom. I do this to pass along something positive to start his day. The message always begins with “TODAY” followed by an inspirational message such as:
TODAY—Winning makes you a Champion but having a heart for others makes you a Hero. Do both TODAY and be someone’s SUPER HERO!
In light of recent of hurricanes and tragic events, I am certain the first responders and helpful citizens woke up on those days not knowing their TODAY was going to significantly impact others. I am also certain they live their lives with an understanding of others first and how to make their TODAY matter. We need more of that in our country, and I want this Motivational Monday to encourage all who read this to remember—What you do today matters and to always be prepared and strive to be a Super Hero for someone TODAY!
