Independent Agents’ Month: Outstanding Agent Award Winner – Kerrville Title
March 27, 2026At FNTI, fraud prevention starts with strong relationships, sharp instincts, and agents who are willing to take the extra step.
Recently, Staci Albert, Escrow Officer at Levelland Title, demonstrated exactly what it means to be a Fraud Shield Agent through proactive communication and swift verification efforts that helped stop a potentially fraudulent transaction before it gained momentum.
After receiving a call from a local real estate agent regarding concerns about an individual claiming to be the owner of a 160-acre farm property, Staci immediately took action to investigate the matter further. Through additional fraud research and verification efforts, it was confirmed that the individual attempting to sell the property was in fact fraudulent.
This situation is a great example of how collaboration between title agents and trusted real estate partners can help identify red flags early, prevent unnecessary work and expense, and most importantly, protect customers from fraud.
Through diligence, communication, and quick action, Staci helped stop fraud before the transaction could move forward.
This is what it means to be a Fraud Shield Agent.
