The Roller Coaster like ups and downs of interest rates, refinance applications, and shortages in available housing has continued to be the driving force of the market in the Western Region. The supply of U.S. homes for sale is near a record low, and the gap between supply and demand is widening. Pandemic related supply chain issues have made building materials expensive and harder to come by which has caused some builders to delay projects.

Even with these challenges, the title industry is thriving!  Although I have seen a slight drop in new orders per day so far in September, volume is still above last year and much higher than past years.  New technology and the growing list of services that FNTI offer to help our independent agents is helping overcome labor shortages.

The FNTI team took a quick break from the hustle and bustle and had a chance to catch up with our industry friends at the Land Title of Colorado’s 100th annual conference. It was a fantastic conference filled with education sessions and plenty of entertainment!  Take a look on our social media for photos of our FNTI Family dressed to the hilt in our Roaring Twenties ensemble, 60’s themed night and Caddy shack golf outing.  We also attended the Arizona Conference last week. I hope you all were able to stop by our booth and learn more about our title production services. If not, you can always call your agency representative and they will get you in touch with the right people for more information.
