AGENT SPOTLIGHT: Frontier Title Group
September 15, 2020A: Florida DFS-licensed title agencies, located in and outside Florida, are required to submit information (“The Data Call”) about their businesses to the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR). OIR reviews the data collected to determine whether adjustments should be made to the Florida promulgated title premium rates.
All title agencies holding a license in the 2019 calendar year are required to participate in the Data Call. The deadline for the 2019 Data Call submission was extended to September 1, 2020. An agent’s license can be suspended by OIR for failure to meet the Data Call deadline. Attorneys licensed by the Florida Bar and law firms are not required to participate in the Data Call.
The Data Call is submitted through the on-line Insurance Regulation Filing System (“IRFS”). To access the system, you can copy and paste the following link into your search engine:
Make sure to allow yourself time to register for access to IRFS and complete the Data Call by the September 1, 2020 deadline. A How To Guide is available at :

The FLTA website provides helpful information and does not require a user name or password to access the Data Call page.
