Regional Update with Nicole Hayes | Shaking Things Up in Florida

Have you heard! FNTI is reshaping the underwriting industry in Florida. So, we’ve been hitting the pavement, going from the bottom of the state to the top, visiting our awesome title agents, to spread the word! Our adventure started in South Florida in beautiful Miami Dade. With the palm trees swaying lightly in the breeze we popped in to salute our agent’s gritty determination in an unprecedented time. Seeing their gleaming faces as we shared the FNTI story of our fearless leader, Bill Shaddock’s, vision to create an underwriter that understands the everyday ins and outs of an independent title company today. Being a title agent and entrepreneur himself, Mr. Shaddock set out to be the underwriter for the independent title agent.

This vision includes a revamped production team. Kim Whitlock & Nereida Almos, National Title Operations Managers, lead the way to build a team that keeps our agents as top priority. Increasing turn times, as well as faster updates and better/clearer communication. Our team is communicating daily and meeting weekly with our production team to better our production, processes and service.

We trekked up to north Florida, to visit our agents in the panhandle, that have very different challenges. With the influx of people learning about our great state and wanting to get a piece of paradise, in all regions, but specifically in that very coveted area. The housing market is healthy and thriving. We were very pleased that our agents in the panhandle are seeing a major shift with our title production. Helping to alleviate wait times so that your trusted clients can quickly and smoothly close on the homes of their dreams.

Our team has also introduced our new Senior Vice President and Florida Region Agency Manager to our FNTI Florida team, Brad Jones! Brad has years of experience on the title agency side. His background is a great mix of understanding the title agency world as well as production and underwriting. Brad is happy to call Sarasota home. Brad and I will be hitting the road this summer to continue to tell the FNTI story. With his background in title, he understands the pains and the joys of the industry and intends to be a supportive leader and pioneer of bringing an independent feel to the underwriting relationship.
