PLANO, TEXAS - First National Title Insurance Company (FNTI) is excited to announce the promotion of Ned Livornese to National Underwriting Counsel. Ned is an industry veteran with 30 years of experience. Ned’s in-depth national underwriting knowledge and experience are invaluable assets as he leads FNTI’s national underwriting division.
“Ned brings a wealth of national underwriting knowledge, experience, and leadership to our national underwriting division and serves as a valuable resource to our national agency partners. We are excited to be making this announcement and to have Ned lead our national underwriting division in his new role,” stated David Hays, general counsel.
“I’m looking forward to sharing a vast array of underwriting and educational tools that are only available from First National Title Insurance Company to help our state and national agency partners do business in the most efficient manner possible. The goal will be to respond to all underwriting inquiries in less than an hour. Underwriting questions should not be the reason to hold up settlements,” says Livornese.

Having been a prior owner of a title agency, he has an ‘inside’ and thorough understanding of what is important to an agent, and his extensive agent educational and training programs will help agents with their local and national growth strategies. Livornese joined FNTI in June of this year as mid-Atlantic & national underwriting counsel. He has helped grow that region and has been a tremendous resource in our national expansion.
