Wendy is a 2012 summa cum laude graduate of Baker University with a B.A. in Business Administration, Accounting, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2018. During law school, she received pro bono honors, a CALI Award, and won the 2017 ABA National Tax Challenge for Best Written Submission.
With more than 24 years of experience in the title and escrow industry, Wendy previously served as General Counsel of Continental Title Holding Company, Inc. Her expertise includes title insurability, underwriting, probate, foreclosures, divorces, trusts, powers of attorney, endorsements, and claims.
Wendy is a member of the Missouri and Kansas State Bars and the Missouri and Kansas Land Title Associations. She serves on the Legislative Committees for both associations and holds title producer licenses in Missouri, Kansas, and Florida. Wendy regularly teaches clients and employees and serves as a guest speaker at UMKC School of Law’s Abandoned Housing Clinic.
