I was in Lubbock last week and while reading the city magazine, I came across a quote from local Restaurateur David Campisi, “Some people collect art. We like to collect relationships.”
While we don’t sell veal parmesan or shrimp Alfredo in the title industry, the above quote rings just as true for us. We have remittances, premiums, escrow fees, policies issued, orders received, etc., that measure our success, but the real barometer of success are the relationships we have built throughout our respective careers.
Think of it like this.
• For every policy issued, there is a loyal Realtor who closes with you.
• For every remittance check you send FNTI, there is a lender or banker who uses only you and your company.
• For every contract you receipt, there is that attorney in town that goes only to you for his real estate needs.
Your “Relationship Rolodex” (If you don’t know what a Rolodex is, think of your contact list in your phone.) is what creates the opportunities you have in your business. We are no different here at FNTI.
One of the things we strive for is to create relationships that take you from customers—to partners—to ultimately friends. We hope we are successful in this quest.
