IMITATION – “A thing intended to simulate or copy something else.”
“Imitation is the greatest form of flattery.” – Charles Caleb Colton
“There are no new ideas. There are only new ways of making them felt.” – Audre Lorde
With the many “how’s” we have discussed recently concerning ways we endeavor to earn your business, your gracious remittances and comments show that we are doing something right.
As Audre Lorde stated above, our “how’s” may have origins from the past actions of our title forefathers, and we hold ours up as the bellwether of our industry.
An unintended consequence of this appears to be that our competitors are taking notice and attempting to perform like services (e.g. sales training, sales accountability, better webinars, MCE classes, etc.) for our mutual agents.
These actions from our competitors to (for lack of a better term) “catch up” with FNTI provide better representation to all agents, which is a good thing for our agents.
To our competitors: Keep up the good work—it only ups our game. Be ready to catch up again!
