D.J. has worked in the title industry since 2003 when he started as an agency representative for a national underwriter. He later joined a Texas-based regional underwriter as an agency representative where he developed business throughout the Southwest.

D.J. is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a bachelor of arts degree. He is a member of the Texas Land Title Association and participates on committees and is the chairman of the TLTA PAC annual golf tournament. He is also active in the Arizona and Colorado land title associations and the Center for Brain Health of Dallas.


Ari Ramras

Ari has litigated a variety of commercial disputes in federal and state court. His clients have ranged from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 50 companies. He is an AV rated attorney and has been selected to Best Lawyers in America (2013-2015), Southwest Super Lawyers (2010-2015), and Arizona’s Finest Lawyers.

Ari is one of the only litigators in Arizona qualified as a Certified Specialist in Real Estate Law (State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization). He is also certified by the Arizona Department of Real Estate as an instructor. He teaches a class on title procedures at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business. The largest title insurers in Arizona rely on Ari’s expertise in title and escrow matters. In 2008, he successfully litigated a landmark title insurance coverage dispute in the Arizona Supreme Court, First American Title Insurance Company v. Action Acquisitions, 218 Ariz. 394, 187 P.3d 1107 (2008). Ari is the general counsel for Ramras Realty. He has been interviewed on Channel 12 regarding landlord-tenant issues, and has spoken at various continuing education and industry events on a variety of real estate issues. He has also acted as an expert witness on real estate litigation standard of care issues.

Ari is also an experienced mediator. He was trained at the Program on Negotiation (PON) at Harvard Law School. He is a mediation provider for the Arizona Association of Realtors. As a former Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court, he conducted numerous civil settlement conferences. In 2009, Ari was selected by the Director of the Lodestar Dispute Resolution Program at the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law to serve on the Arizona Foreclosure Mediation Task Force.

Ari has volunteered for Law Day Legal Aid Clinics and Lawyers On Call public service programs organized by the State Bar.

Jay Hansli

Jay Hansli has been in the title industry since 1986 and oversees the Florida Agency Division. Hansli has spent time managing a North Florida closing division of a large underwriter and as an agency manager for another major underwriter. His experience is multi-faceted giving him the knowledge to work with independent agents in many areas of their business. “I am very happy to be a part of the First National Title Insurance Company team, and I look forward to working with the independent agents of Florida.”

First National Title Insurance Company’s Florida Underwriting Counsel John N. Redding has been in the business for 28 years. Prior to becoming an attorney, John started working in the title insurance industry in 1988 and held many positions starting as a copy clerk and progressing to underwriting counsel for various underwriters. Before heading to law school, he was regarded as one of the foremost commercial title examiners in Tampa Bay and handled some of the area’s most complex transactions. He has the reputation for making deals happen, not tearing them apart.

John is a member of The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section and serves as an active member of the Executive Counsel. He is also an active member of the Section’s Problem Studies Committee, Real Estate Litigation Committee, Title Insurance Committee, and Condominium and Planned Development Committee. He has recently authored a chapter for the Florida Bar’s book Real Estate Sales Transactions, and the Florida Bar’s book on Florida Real Property Complex Transactions. John is also a member of the Florida Land Title Association and the local Hillsborough County Bar Association.


Audra Tyler

Audra Tyler began working in the title industry in 2004. She quickly learned that there are real people behind every transaction and that a sense of urgency is needed to complete the work in a timely and accurate manner. She has experience at both large statewide companies and national operations where she has managed national search teams. She ultimately found her place as a title examiner in Florida for a large national underwriter. Audra has worked on nearly every degree of complexity ranging from subdivided property, foreclosure/REO transactions, tax deed searches, metes and bounds, and commercial property. Audra will serve as Florida Plant Manager for FNTI.

Morris "Mo" J. Chavez

Morris J. (Mo) Chavez is an AV® Peer Review Rated Attorney that served as the superintendent of insurance for the state of New Mexico from 2006 through 2010. As the youngest commissioner in the country at the time, he quickly ascended through the national leadership ranks of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). He served on the NAIC Executive Committee and became the vice-chairman of the Western Zone within months of his appointment as superintendent. Furthermore, Mo was also appointed by NAIC Officers to serve as the chairman for two prestigious national committees on Consumer Affairs and Title Insurance.

Jeremy is a partner, director and shareholder at the Sommer Udall Sutin Law Firm in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jeremy has handled cases and transactions involving real property since he began practicing his practice of law in 2004 in California. As part of his diverse law practice, Jeremy has counseled banks, other lenders, businesses, Realtors, and individuals on a wide range of matters involving title to real property, title policy provisions and applicable regulations. Jeremy has successfully resolved numerous disputes involving title claims.

Chris Phillips began his career in the title industry in 1977 in Colorado. He spent 26 years working in several leadership roles, including president, at a Texas-based regional underwriter where he was responsible for building the agency network and increasing revenues throughout the Southwest.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is a member of the Texas Land Title Association where he serves on the TLTAPAC board as a trustee. In 2010, he was awarded the TLTA’s highest honor of Title Man of the Year, which recognizes significant and longtime contributions to the title industry and the association.

George Stablein started working in the title industry as underwriting counsel for a national underwriter in 1998. He has since worked for two more national underwriting companies as counsel and regional manager where he increased the company’s agency presence in Texas. George will focus on growing the independent agent network for First National Title in Texas and other states as the company expands.

George is a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He earned his juris doctorate from Western State University College of Law. He is an active member of the Texas Land Title Association and often conducts training seminar for title agents and real estate agents throughout Texas.

Geri Hosterman entered the title industry in 1991 as the communications manager at the Texas Land Title Association. She joined a Texas-based regional underwriter in 1993 as agency representative and served as agency operations manager and vice president of Texas agency.

Geri is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor of journalism degree. She is a member of the Texas Land Title Association where she has participated on various committees and served as committee chairman.

Suzanne Tinsley

Suzanne Tinsley began her career in the real estate industry in 2001, transitioning from the oil and gas industry after Sept 11. She has served in many facets of our industry, but her most gratifying has been her position as an agency manager for a major underwriter, bringing her years of experience in direct title sales and marketing to her clients through training and ideas. Suzanne has quickly become considered a valuable resource and extension of her agents' teams. Her sales philosophy is that it should be a genuine act of service with the goal to delight customers.

Suzanne stays active in the title industry through volunteering as a member of the Texas Land Title Association, a licensed Texas Real Estate Commission MCE instructor and a former board member. She is an award winner within the Society of Commercial Realtors and has received numerous recognitions from her volunteer efforts in affiliated associations. Suzanne actively participates in the Ronald McDonald House and RU4Children charities.


Jamie Barker

Jamie Barker entered the title industry in 2001 and has worked on both the agent and underwriting sides of the business. She also has an extensive background in title software, including her tenure at RamQuest. She uses her knowledge of the RamQuest system to help train agents and assists in solving software issues while attending to her duties as agency service manager. Jamie is an active member of the Texas Land Title Association.
